Shaft Couplings

ENEMAC shaft couplings are equalising couplings for the backlash-free, angularly accurate transmission of torques from 0.4 Nm to 65,000 Nm. Depending on the type, they can be used at speeds of up to 95,000 rpm and operating temperatures of up to 350°C. ENEMAC's product portfolio is just as diverse as the possible applications for shaft couplings. It ranges from metal bellows couplings to elastomer couplings and disc couplings.

Metal bellows couplings

ENEMAC metal bellows couplings are used in direct drives to connect two shafts backlash-free and torsionally rigid. At the same time, the flexible metal bellows enable axial, radial and angular shaft misalignment to be compensated. Metal bellows couplings are quick and easy to install and ensure reliable torque transmission even at high speeds. Depending on the type, they can be used at temperatures of up to 350°C.

Elastomer couplings

ENEMAC elastomer couplings (claw couplings) are plug-in equalising couplings for backlash-free, angularly accurate transmission of torques in direct drives. The polyurethane insert, available in different Shore hardnesses, has a vibration-damping and electrically insulating effect.

Multi-plate couplings

ENEMAC multi-plate couplings (disc couplings) are form-fitting shaft connections for the backlash-free transmission of torques of up to 65,000 Nm in direct drives. The high-strength disc packs made of stainless steel make it possible to compensate for axial, lateral and angular shaft misalignments. The double-cardanic design can also bridge shaft distances of up to 3 metres and can therefore be used as a distance coupling.
