Forming technology demands the highest levels of precision, short cycle times and maximum process reliability. High-performance clamping technology together with reliable torque limiters (safety couplings) and shaft couplings make a significant contribution to the productivity and availability of modern forming equipment.
ENEMAC mechanical clamping technology provides secure tool and workpiece clamping with clamping forces of up to 250 kN. Thanks to its integrated force amplification mechanism, high clamping forces are achieved with comparatively low tightening torques. The self-locking design ensures permanently secure clamping connections, reduces setup times and delivers repeatable clamping performance.
ENEMAC safety couplings for direct and indirect drives reliably protect machinery against overload and provide torque limitation up to 23,000 Nm. In the event of a blockage or tool failure, they mechanically disengage the driveline within milliseconds, preventing costly damage to presses, servo drives, gearboxes and tooling. This minimizes unplanned downtime and extends the service life of the entire production system.
For highly dynamic servo drives and precision positioning systems, ENEMAC metal bellows couplings provide absolutely backlash-free, torsionally rigid torque transmission. They reliably compensate for axial, radial and angular shaft misalignment and operate at speeds of up to 57,000 min⁻¹. Their low mass moment of inertia ensures precise motion control and excellent repeatability, making them ideally suited for modern servo presses, feed systems, transfer systems and automated handling equipment.
