Shaft Couplings
ENEMAC shaft couplings are backlash-free compensating couplings for the precise, angle-accurate transmission of torques from 0.4 Nm to 65,000 Nm. Depending on the series, they can be used at speeds of up to 57,000 rpm and temperatures of up to 350°C. Thanks to the wide variety of designs, ENEMAC offers the technically appropriate coupling design for almost every machine – from high-precision axes in machine tool construction to automation, packaging technology, measurement and testing technology, pump systems, energy systems, steel and hot operating applications.
Metal bellows couplings from ENEMAC are completely backlash-free, have high torsional stiffness, extremely low restoring forces, and are therefore particularly suitable for precise positioning tasks and high-load changes in direction of rotation. They enable smooth and controllable power transmission.
Elastomer couplings dampen vibrations and shocks and can effectively prevent resonance from reaching the drive. They are electrically insulating and can be precisely adapted to the required machine characteristics using different Shore hardnesses. They are economical to use, robust, and easy to install.
Disc couplings transmit high torques in a compact design, offer high torsional stiffness, are maintenance-free, extremely durable, and ideally suited for heavy-duty applications in mining and foundries.
Since 1981, ENEMAC has stood for technical coupling solutions with high operational reliability, long service life, and absolutely reliable repeatability. Every designer thus receives a technically sound solution that is precisely tailored to the actual load – no compromise.

Metal bellows couplings
ENEMAC metal bellows couplings connect two shafts completely backlash-free and torsionally rigid and are used in direct drives. The flexible metal bellows reliably compensates for axial misalignment, radial misalignment, and angular misalignment, thus protecting bearings and other components from overload. Thanks to simple and quick installation, the couplings ensure reliable torque transmission even at high speeds and temperatures up to 350°C.
Particularly powerful high-speed variants enable speeds of up to 57,000 rpm and are suitable for applications with extreme dynamic requirements. Spread cone designs offer secure and backlash-free clamping on hollow shafts without the need for additional components. Pluggable versions for blind mounting facilitate installation on hard-to-reach shafts without compromising the precision of the coupling.
ENEMAC metal bellows couplings are used in a wide range of industries, including automation, robotics, aerospace, and mechanical and plant engineering. They impress with maximum operational reliability, long service life, and high repeatability in continuous operation, offering the technically optimal solution for every application.

Elastomer couplings
ENEMAC elastomer couplings (claw couplings) are plug-in compensating couplings for backlash-free, angle-accurate transmission of torques in direct drives. They transmit torques from 0.7 Nm to 2,000 Nm and are suitable for speeds up to 35,000 rpm. The polyurethane elastomer star, available in different Shore hardnesses, has a vibration-damping and electrically insulating effect.
Various designs are available for shaft connection: clamping hubs, conical bushings, half-shell hubs, spreader cone systems, and inexpensive threaded pins. These variants allow flexible adaptation to different shaft geometries and mounting requirements.
ENEMAC elastomer couplings are used successfully in many industries, including automation and robotics, mechanical and plant engineering, aerospace, and the textile industry. They combine high operational reliability, long service life, and easy installation with precise torque transmission and optimal vibration damping—ideal for demanding applications in direct drives.

Multi-plate couplings
ENEMAC multi-plate couplings (disc couplings) are positive-locking shaft connections for the backlash-free transmission of torques of up to 65,000 Nm in direct drives. The high-strength stainless steel disc packs compensate for axial, lateral, and angular shaft misalignments and ensure smooth, loss-free power transmission even under extreme load conditions.
The double cardan design also allows shaft distances of up to 3 m to be bridged and can be used as a distance coupling, making it particularly flexible for use in machine and plant concepts. Disc couplings impress with their maintenance-free operation, high temperature resistance, and long service life, even under continuous load.
ENEMAC multi-plate couplings are mainly used in heavy industry, road construction, foundries, agriculture, and construction machinery. They combine high torsional stiffness with robustness and reliability, ensuring maximum operational safety and precise torque transmission even in demanding heavy-duty drives.
